Life at Trilitech | Amber Haly, Office Manager
This week we’re excited to feature Amber Haly, our Office Manager, who is the glue that keeps the team running smoothly.
Can you summarise your career before Trilitech?
Before Trilitech, I worked in the fashion industry, primarily in operations. I spent four years with Orla Kiely and two years working in Sydney. While I enjoyed my time in fashion, I eventually decided that I wanted a change and sought a career in tech.
What was your journey into Web3?
Curiosity. Web3 is such an exciting and evolving space, and I wanted to be part of something innovative and forward-thinking.
What does your day-to-day as an Office Manager look like?
Every day is busy and incredibly versatile. While much of my role is independent, there’s also plenty of opportunity to collaborate. Every day, I organise a free lunch for the team, which allows me to interact with everyone in the office. I work closely with the HR Operations team, and I’m currently collaborating with senior stakeholders to restructure the office layout so we can optimise the space.
I really enjoy welcoming external guests as I gain insights into the business through these interactions. Additionally, I support the Content team with operational tasks, such as setting up studios and ordering equipment, and manage responsibilities like organising headshots for new starters.
How would you describe your first month at Trilitech, and how is it different today?
My first month was chaotic in the best way possible! It was December, so my first week involved organising the Trilitech Christmas party. I spent a lot of time getting to know the office and the team before we sat down for the private lunch. Back then, the team was much smaller, and things felt more ad hoc.
Today, there’s a lot more structure in place. We’ve implemented tools like Asana across the business, which has streamlined workflows and made day-to-day operations more efficient.
What’s your favourite thing about Trilitech?
The team. Trilitech brings together a great bunch of individuals from very versatile backgrounds. It’s a collaborative environment where people naturally gel with each other. You can ask anyone for help, and they’ll always say yes, which makes it easy to form good relationships across the team.
How would you describe the company culture?
The culture is all about urgency and performance with support from the wider team. There’s a shared sense of purpose, and everyone works together to achieve our goals.

The international team, the versatility of the role, and the friendly environment stood out to me. Trilitech offered the perfect blend of challenge and collaboration.
What’s been your highlight so far?
Organising TezDev and the engineering offsite for both the Nomadic Labs and Trilitech teams were definitely highlights. It was incredibly rewarding to see everything come together, knowing that I played a key role.
